Step Up and Step In to Experience Your Greatness.

Businesses are constantly pushing the envelope to achieve greater performance, productivity, and profit. In that environment you are only as good as your last quarterly evaluation. Right now is when you need to be taking a hard look at your skill set heading into the next year. You can be sure that the decision makers in your organization are already doing that to prepare their own big-picture game plan.

Although it is beneficial to reflect on past achievements and acknowledge previous mistakes, this time of year is all about letting go and getting ready for the next year.

What strengths did you develop over the past 3-6 months? Have you started promoting those to the higher-ups and incorporating them into your personal brand?

Lack of confidence and leadership presence will leave many people behind in 2015. Look for gaps between your qualifications and what your organization currently seeks. How can you develop in those areas to get ahead of the curve?

By being proactive you can even transform past failures into distinguishing brand assets your competitors don’t possess. Never stop growing and learning and you’ll never stop adding value your organization wants and needs.

Great things are on the horizon. Now it’s up to YOU to step up and lean in to guarantee YOUR place at the table. What people, resources, connections, and training do you need? Make those part of your Predictable Promotion™ holiday shopping list. Then hit the ground running career-wise for the 1st quarter of 2015!

Examine your personal/professional “equity potential.” What aspect of your career do you believe has the most potential upside, and how can you capitalize on that within the next 100 days to accelerate your value?
